Hal Danchilla

With three decades of distinguished experience, Hal ranks among the foremost experts in strategic problem solving.
Since 1998, Hal has successfully served thousands of municipalities, companies, and individuals on government relations advocacy, strategic planning, communications, and more.

He co-founded Canadian Strategy Group in 2008 and most recently created Integrated Strategic Partners Inc. (ISP), bringing together some of the best minds across a range of multi-disciplinary facets to serve clients with efficiency and impact: marketing and communications, government relations, and research and polling.

With Hal at the lead, there isn’t another firm in Western Canada with the same collective success rate as ISP.

Almost every political event in Alberta over the last 25+ years has been shaped, advised, managed, directed, or informed by Hal. Most notably, he served as a political advisor during the Klein administration, was the lead strategist behind the successful underdog campaign of Stephen Mandel to become Mayor of Edmonton, and was also the driver behind the national campaign for Stockwell Day and the Canadian Alliance. Recently, Hal has become a trusted advisor and campaign strategist for Jason Kenney.

Hal’s expertise transcends beyond government relations and into strategic and crisis communications, negotiations, advocacy, and influencing public opinion.

He was part of the core team during the negotiation of Edmonton’s Rogers Place and has led several other challenging projects including the reclamation of contaminated sites, formation of industry associations, securing access for rare pharmaceuticals, and guiding professional compensation strategies.

Outside of his work-hard mentality, Hal enjoys international travel, collecting art, and even skeet shooting.
